We really enjoyed our week here. The bungalow has been a perfect home away home for our family. I wish I had another week to stay and enjoy the house, neighborhood and wonderful San Diego. Because we have a 2 year old, we spent 3 days at Sea World, 2 days at the Zoo and the other 2 visiting Balboa Park’s Museums. We really enjoyed the convenience of this location and your remodel is out of this world!

We love the bungalow and the location near the beach. OB has a lot of character and Newport Ave is a kick for shopping, dinning and nightlife. We appreciated how “homey the bungalow is – we felt like after this week that we have a 2nd home/town that we fit into. The high-speed internet connection was crucial. Sunset Cliffs was a must for the sunsets!

Once again (second year) we had a beautiful “oasis” to spend time at while we also worked a conference downtown. We had the good sense to come a day early so we could really roam OB- which is delightful! Great antique shops up Newport Ave, plus the lobster tacos at South Beach Bar are truly wonderful (not to mention the hot waffle ice-cream sandwiches next door!) The cottage is perfect! See you next year….

Top ten things we loved about this cottage
(1.) Close to Sea World (2.) Convenient to my coffee fix every morning (3.) So many activities (4.) Organized and homey (5.) The labeled spice rack (6.) Spare Keys (7.) Dishwasher and dryer (8.) Giant TV for American Idol (9.) Good supplies (10.) the drawer below the silverware drawer.

We just loved this little house!! Been to OB a couple of times before, but stayed in hotels. This was far the best!! I love to cook, so it was nice to have a kitchen. You have definitely thought of everything!! I will be back next year again for Spring Break. This is the best location. My daughter loved it.

This is my 2nd time renting the Cape Cod bungalow, this year for 5 weeks. I was pleased to see that it has held up very well in the intervening year and was as clean, neat and beautiful as last year. I was most impressed with the new addition of the easy to use high-speed internet, which I used daily to keep in touch with my world back home. This year I returned to many of my haunts from last year.( Balboa Park, Cabrillo National Monument (check out the tide pools at low tide, especially if you have kids), Torrey Pines( where I saw migrating Grey Whales, 3 different times),the glider port, the seals in La Jolla, the Zoo and the Wild Animal Park, but also had more time to discover OB on foot and found good restaurants and interesting little shops and the huge antique stores on Newport Ave. Some great stuff there. Enjoyed the sunsets at the beach. Dennis was very helpful with any concerns I had. I will be back next year (if I don’t move to San Diego before. It is a definite possibility.

The Cape Cod cottage is Gorgeous! Being from Cape Cod and experiencing it here has made us feel quite at home. The accommodations here are top notch… very impressive. We would highly recommend these bungalows to anyone. Now we are off to stay in the Bungalow next door ( Bahamas Bungalow) to finish our vacation.

This was the best vacation! The bungalow was a big- BIG- part of it. If I could, I’d take 3 things- the duvet, the blanket throw and the sectional. So Comfy. We had the best food at Hodads for hamburgers are a must. We laughed so hard trying to eat the double bacon cheeseburger. (My son and I split ½). Had to do laundry when we got home. The beach, La Jolla, Cabrillo were all wonderful. Thanks for having us as your guest. We hate to leave.

We have been waiting for our San Diego vacation since April (when we booked the bungalow). And it meets all of our expectations. Once we stepped into the bungalow we were in an instant relaxation mod and maintained that all week. This was all credit to the wonderful bungalow and the wonderful environment that it offered. When we came here we had no plans at all, however Ocean Beach and San Diego kept us occupied. We visited: Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Coronado, Mission Beach and San Yisdro. Thank you for giving us a home away from home.
